THE ENGRAVING<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Lorenzo Zangheri learnt about engraving <\/strong>at the beginning of 2019. At a multidisciplinary “Radura” group meeting, he discovers this technique is perfectly suitable for the style and themes he deals with.
Among all the techniques, Lorenzo prefers etching<\/strong>. He usually chooses to work on copper plates <\/strong>and, more rarely, zinc plates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the etching technique process, Lorenzo shorty learns how to run autonomously the preparation and plate production phases as well as the print phase; he pays particular attention to plate painting and engraving, which is why he builds a specific work tool.<\/strong> He pays similar attention to the acid etching phase: Lorenzo may dip plates in acid even 10 times, respecting each one’s engraving timespan.<\/p>\n

The paper he uses to print on is 220 g Rosaspina cardboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
